    What's New

    Two-layer precision alert filtering:

    • UGC county/zone filtering (server-side): FCM only delivers to devices subscribed to affected counties — the first gate that eliminates most out-of-area alerts
    • Polygon filtering (client-side): For Tornado Warnings, Severe Thunderstorm Warnings, Flash Flood Warnings, and other storm-based products, the app checks your GPS location against the exact warned polygon. If you're outside it, the alert is stored in the Alerts tab but no notification is shown.
    • Fail-open safety: If GPS is unavailable or the alert has no polygon, you always get the notification — a life-safety alert is never silently dropped
    • Fixed UGC parser bug: was only capturing the last county in a sequence; now correctly expands all abbreviated codes (e.g. ALC073-075-083-125)

    Language and copy cleanup — removed informal wording from privacy policy and terms

    Installation: Download app-release.apk, enable Install from unknown sources for your browser, and sideload. Re-open the app after install to re-register and pick up new ugc_ALC125 / ugc_ALZ026 subscriptions.
